Typical negotiations often involve highly contentious talks, one side making an offer, often excessively unrealistic, their "position." The opposing side makes a counter offer, again, often excessively unrealistic, and the two sides proceed through a series of contentious meetings, "negotiations", until one side ultimately concedes, and an agreement is reached, but in the process harsh words and accusations are frequently exchanged, bad feelings and broken relationships are too often part of the final agreement. One side, or both sides, leave the negotiations feeling abused and taken advantage of as a result.
We at JG Morgan Solutions offer an alternative process. One that builds trust, improves efficiency and helps labor-management teams to work together productively.
The process involves several steps to set up the teams for success.
Establishing mutually agreed upon procedures.

Often when a new management team assumes leadership there will be a certain amount of friction. Initially, this can be expected, but prolonged dicord is often a sympton of a deeper problem. Management styles vary, but the creation of a strife ridden work environment impedes progress and efficiency, and often top performers will seek work elsewhere.
Negotiations are one event in the labor-management relationship, and is an opportunity for either setting the stage for ongoing conflict, or creating a work environment that is positive and productive.
